Old-timey. Unreal.. A revival. A revelation. Pokey LaFarge hit the road with a 3-piece suit and a guitar more than 15 years ago, playing songs that were old when his grandparents were babies. He draws from those wells to compose originals that are truly out of place and time. LaFarge has recorded on Free Dirt Records, Shenandoah River Evangelist Record Company, Rounder, and New West Records. He's performed a Tiny Desk Concert for NPR, been welcomed to a Daytrotter Session, and recorded studio as well as Blue Room live tracks at Jack White's Third Man Records.

This 2015 record finds him in his ascendancy, recording with a band and playing Americana that has elements of blues, bluegrass, jazz, ragtime, and folk.
